Camouflage, stalking and observation

One of the hardest skills to learn is how to effectively use camouflage and stalking to infiltrate and exfiltrate from a position advantageous for surveillance and observation. These skills are critical for staying hidden whether you're stalking that trophy elk or observing a potentially hostile entity during a crisis event.

This is a three day course consisting of mixture of lecture and extensive field time. The focus will be on concealed movement and observation by civilians. A few specific lectures are as follows

- Use of the "cobra hood"

- Movement

- Importance and use of natural vegetation

- Contingency Plans

- Infiltration and exfiltration

- Interpretation of maps

The course will end with a very unique Culmination Exercise (CULEX) where the students will be given a "mission package", plan their insertion, observation and extraction, while observing a specific location and documenting what happens.

Many shooters understand that the hardest part of a professional sniper program isn't the shooting, it's the stalking. As Professional Citizens we've reached out to the best of the best, the masters of that craft, to create a learning experience like no other. You'll learn how to make cobra hoods and improvise camouflage with natural materials. You'll learn how to move through observation using micro terrain to hide from trained spotters.

This course will have potentially physically demanding components, you'll be getting dirty and sweaty, and you might end up spending 2 hours in a bug infested hide where you'll be unable to twitch for fear of detection. Upon enrollment you'll be emailed a list of items you must bring and list of items that are suggested. The philosophy of this course that that professional snipers will teach you to use what you'd have around as a professional citizen, rather than having you purchase the kit necessary to be a professional sniper. The instructors will stress field craft over gear every time.

Due to the intense nature of this course will have a strict limit of 12 students. This class will fill up quickly so get after it!
