Effective communication can be the difference between success and disaster in the backcountry. Our Off-Grid Communications course is designed to equip you with the skills to stay connected in remote areas—whether you’re navigating natural disasters or tackling rugged trails.

You’ll learn how to select, operate, and maintain a wide range of radios and digital communication devices. No license is required to attend, but we cover both GMRS and Amateur Radio in detail, giving you a clear understanding of their capabilities, limitations, and legal use.

Our instructors break down the complexities of radio communication with practical, real-world instruction—so you leave confident and ready to communicate when it matters most.
